I could have went my entire life without giving a second thought about Avatar. I was like, yeah, it is amazing what they can do with computers nowadays, did you know that Charles Babbage created the first computer in 1837? Neat-o!Then I read the Paste Magazine review and I was more inclined to care because I respect that magazine.
Of course I had to do research because Robert was like "That movies going to be no good, son." (I hate it when he calls me son) I came to the conclusion that I'm probably going to try and go back to not caring because I was a happier person back then. It's impossible but I'm going to try.
When Will White People Stop Making Movies Like Avatar
I don't know, I do care but I don't care. I could reduce artistry to mere haranguing of the masses. I could say something about how short life is and how each moment should be a practice in making the most of that moment. I could could write an essay about reclaiming popular culture as a stewardly practice. However, I feel like that would just be some kind of pretentious. Too late, I'm some kinda pretentious.
I'll watch it if it has some Airbending.
